Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer specializing in Analytical Instrumentation with a focus on NIR and FTIR computer driven equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our clients' analytical instruments in the food and agriculture industry. This position involves travel to client sites, where you will provide on-site technical support, maintenance, and training services.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure NIR and FTIR analytical instruments at client sites.
  • Ensure proper integration with existing systems and provide hands-on training to end-users.
  • Adapting existing programs to meet users’ requirement.
  • Installing and downloading appropriate software.
  • Implementing computer networks.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the continuous functionality of analytical instruments.
  • Perform instrument calibrations to maintain accuracy and precision.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to NIR and FTIR instruments promptly.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to address complex problems.
  • Determining software and hardware requirement to provide solutions to problems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering technical assistance and guidance.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing excellent service and support.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline).
  • Proven experience in servicing analytical instrumentation, with a focus on NIR and FTIR technology in the food and agriculture industry
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to client sites.
