Test Solutions Architect for R&D Test Team

At FOSS, we are driven by a strong sense of purpose, and we hope you are too. A fast growing world population means that the global food production will have to increase by 60% by 2050 to meet demand. We want to come up with smarter ways to make the best use of agricultural resources, and to help eliminate food waste.

We are looking for an experienced Test Solutions Architect for an exciting and technically challenging position in our R&D test team. You will be based at our fast growing headquarters, and part of our R&D Services organization. If that sounds like something you would like to get out of bed for every Monday morning, then read on.

The job

The test team is a central part of the R&D Services organization with a vision to develop, maintain and support the organization with high quality state of the art production test equipment. You will be working in an interesting and interdisciplinary department with 12 specialists within the fields of test solutions, electronics, software, mechanics, optics, laser, X-ray and chemistry.

Primary task

As Test Solutions Architect your primary focus will be implementing the test strategy for the next generation of test platforms into viable, modular and flexible test solutions. You will use your technical and architectural skills to analyze, define, implement and release new versions of test platforms based on NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW.

Furthermore, you will be involved in designing, programming, run-in and handover product test solutions, and prepare descriptions of user manuals in English for production in Hillerød and China.

You hold a relevant degree, for example as Electronic Engineer, Software Engineer or similar with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within production test, test software and test hardware. This job requires knowledge of all three disciplines.

Solid experience with NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW is a prerequisite (architecture level).

You ideally have good experience with:

  • Test hardware
  • C++/.NET
  • Agile development processes and project management
  • Production systems
  • Databases

It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of low volume production test and HALT/HASS testing methods.

Since FOSS is a global organization, and as you will be writing documentation and descriptions in English, it is important that you have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing.
