This position is for Product Manager for FOSS’ new calibration development tool, FossCalibratorTM

The job

As Product Manager your job is to manage the FossCalibrator product which a fast, intuitive and easy calibrator tool offered to customers who want to do calibration development themselves. FossCalibrator contains advanced chemometric algorithm but with an easy to use workflow including user guidance and advices. The cloud based software is state-of-the-art which continuously is being developed and updated –always focusing on customer’s needs. 

Primary task

You will be responsible for the buildup a successful long-term vision and strategy for portfolio and pipeline, by identifying potential customer needs - from ideation to product launch. You will be responsible for communication and training of the global Sales and Service organization and alignment with other internal organizational units.

A part of the job is also conducting market research (markets, customers and competitors), make product specifications and requirements, input on pricing, plans for product introduction. You will work with "Go-to-Market planning" which includes definition of value propositions, marketing strategies, communication plans, in close cooperation with Digital Business Management. 


We are looking for an ambitious Digital Product Manager with a commercially driven profile with knowledge of multivariate data analysis, chemometrics, and capacity to perform in a high tech environment. We expect you have experience in developing digital products as well as experience in working closely with customers. Food and agro-tech knowledge a plus.

You are talented at building strong relationships both internally and externally since you will work with Segment managers from instrument Sales & Marketing organization, Key Account Management, Sales subsidiaries as well as R&D.

To be successful in the role, you should possess ability to mix innovation with strategic thinking, and demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration and prioritization skills and are familiar with good customer service ethics.

You should be open and curious and possess strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbally and able to communicate business fluently in English. Danish is considered a benefit.
