Compliance Specialist to FOSS Analytical


Looking to join a dynamic team that sets the compliance direction for FOSS? At FOSS, we’re seeking a motivated colleague to join our team in growing our Compliance area for the benefit of FOSS. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills within data privacy, information security, risk management as well as other key compliance activities.

We are looking for a new Compliance Specialist that will be working closely together with our Senior Compliance Specialist to grow and expand our Compliance area and support FOSS to continue complying with legal regulatory standards, procedures and policies.

The workday you can look forward to

Your duties will include documenting and evaluating compliance activities, delivering employee training on compliance matters, handling complaints. Especially within:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive data privacy policies and procedures in compliance with applicable regulations such as GDPR.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all data privacy-related inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Design and deliver internal awareness training programs on compliance policies, including within data privacy, risk management, and information security best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks related to data privacy and information security, providing guidance on mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies.
  • Translate legal compliance requirements into actual relevance for FOSS.

What will make you fit in well

We imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, Business, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, data privacy, Information Security, or related field.
  • Good knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and their practical implications for organizations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CISSP) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle confidential information with discretion.

About the team

Anchored in the CFO organization, we are currently 13 dedicated members of the team working within Compliance, Legal & IP, serving the entire FOSS group as proactive business partners.
