The job We’re looking for a Finance Lead based in Bangkok to support our operations across Australia, India, Thailand, Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. You’ll lead a team of six financial controllers, one in each country, working to ensure the business meets its financial targets while developing and motivating your team. You’ll also ensure company policies are followed and drive performance improvements. The financial controllers reporting to you will have between 1 and 3 people reporting to them, so coaching your leaders on leadership, motivation and engagement will also be part of your role. Since you’ll be covering multiple countries, it’s a plus if you have knowledge or experience working across different markets. You’ll need to collaborate with local teams and leaders in the region, so understanding the region’s dynamics will be a great asset. You’ll work closely with Sales and Service teams operation out of Bangkok office. There will be occasional travel (approx. one week a month) to ensure that you stay connected with your employees and stakeholders across the region. You will be part of the global CFO leadership team and report directly to global CFO. What you’ll do: - Manage day-to-day financial operations for the region
- Lead a team of financial controllers across multiple countries
- Strategic financial planning and analysis
- Work with local teams on month-end closing activities
- Proactively manage costs and improve performance
- Support integration of acquisitions
- Contribute to global financial projects and initiatives
Who are we looking for?
We value personality, but you’ll need solid financial experience, either as a financial controller or from a similar role. A higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is expected, along with relevant field training. Familiarity with working across different countries or international teams will be an advantage. You’ll need to foster a “Winning Team” culture, working closely with your team to support their professional growth and performance. Your leadership will be key to driving results and ensuring that the financial operations in each country are aligned with FOSS’s goals.
