IT License and Contract Specialist


Main responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing software licenses and their compliance across the organization
  • Optimizing the license portfolio to maximize cost efficiency
  • Conducting license and internal audits and preparing reports on their results
  • Negotiating contracts with software and IT service providers
  • Reviewing and evaluating contract terms to ensure favorable terms for the organization
  • Overseeing contract execution and timely contract renewals
  • Working closely with technical teams to understand technology needs and optimize purchases
  • Coordinating with IT departments on software implementation and maintenance
  • Preparing regular analyses of license and service contract spend
  • Creating detailed license and contract status reports for the company's management
  • Identifying and managing risks related to IT licenses and contracts. Implementing legal and technological risk management strategies

 

Qualifications and personal skills:

  • At least 2-3 years experience working as a software license specialist
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • You are always seeking for improvements and optimize
  • You have very good communication skills
  • Good understanding and practice experience with managing and maintaining a software library
  • Working knowledge of vendor license models such as SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce and Azure
  • Certified SAM related qualifications such as the Certificate in Software Asset Management is a plus
