As our new Product Manager in Supplier Quality and Food Safety, you will play a crucial role in strengthening the Food Safety and Supplier Quality Management capability for thousands of food producers around the globe. With the growing population, there is an increased demand for high-quality, sustainable, and safe food, which requires innovative and efficient ways of operating. FOSS, with over 60 years of experience, is in a unique position to develop solutions that automate operational processes and provide data insights for our customers, who are the key players in ensuring overview and advice on Supplier Quality Management as well as Food Safety. Take lead on an exciting new SaaS product
You will drive initiatives to ensure the best-in-class product on the market within Supplier Quality Management and Food Safety with our customers, their processes, their profitability, and ease of work in focus. More specifically, your will take the lead by: - Understanding the key stakeholders in all aspects of the product, from our customers project sponsors to integration and easy of use in managing suppliers through systems and tools
- Mapping and understanding the customer journey, pain points and needs to define the optimal product-market fit across different customers in the food and agro business
- Develop roadmaps, user stories, concepts and sketching to provide specifications for the SW development teams
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and SW development team through problem solving and removing blockers as well as answering detailed questions linked to customer use cases
- Working with user testing and analyzing user data that ensures quick feedback loops with the customers to the development team
- Building a structured approach to drive market, competitor, and customer insights
- Sales enablement activities like providing input to market positioning, marketing material like USPs and develop training content
- Work in an agile context. We use Scrum and daily alignments as part of supporting an empowered culture with responsibility for your own work and common team goals

Overall, we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude that is committed to take lead on one of our most important new solutions. To succeed in this role, we image that you: - Have min. 3 years of experience working with Supplier Quality Management preferably from the food and agro business
- Experience with software solutions managing supplier quality
- Have a structured approach to working with product-market fit and supporting the sales organization
- Have strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and planning skills
- You have the motivation and drive to learn along with a customer focused mindset
- It is a plus if you have knowledge about food and/or agricultural industry, so you can quickly understand our customers’ needs
- It’s further a plus if you have experience with product development and interacting with development teams
