Student Help – Software Platforms (R&D) Do you want to gain real-world experience in software development and quality assurance while supporting a global leader in food analysis innovation? We’re looking for a motivated Student Assistant to join our Software Platforms team at FOSS Innovation Center in Hillerød. Why Join FOSS? Our Innovation Center brings together engineers, designers, and scientists in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. As part of our Software Platforms team, you will help ensure the quality of the foundational software used across all FOSS analytical instruments. Our team is dedicated to delivering robust and state-of-the-art software through a combination of automated and manual testing practices. What You'll Be Doing You will work closely with developers, testers, and our Product Owner to ensure high-quality software deliveries. Your tasks will include: - Developing and maintaining test cases based on feature descriptions (in Azure DevOps)
- Performing manual tests on simulators and real instruments
- Reporting and documenting software bugs
- Verifying bug fixes and validating feature implementations
- Contributing to test process improvements and documentation
- Collaborating across QA and development teams to support sprint goals
What We’re Looking For You are: - Currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master’s program (e.g., Software Development, Software Technology, Computer Engineering)
- Able to commit approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Expected to have at least 2 years of study remaining
And you have: - A curious and detail-oriented mindset
- A proactive approach to learning and collaboration
- A professional working proficiency in English
