About you You are a solution-oriented professional who takes initiative and often leads efforts to resolve challenges in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects at the plant. You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and you know how to prioritize effectively when needed. As a strong team player, you actively contribute to the success of the NPI team and support your colleagues in achieving shared goals. You communicate clearly and confidently, using data and facts to collaborate with R&D and drive informed, evidence-based decisions. You hold a background in technical education (e.g., Technical Assistant, Engineer or similar technical education) and have: - Experience with CAD systems (e.g Inventor)
- Experience with 3D Design Systems for assembly (e.g SolidWorks Composer)
- Knowledge about the tasks and challenges related to the task of setting up the production at shop floor
- Understanding of production setup and documentation (SOPs, BOMs, tools, routings)
- Knowledge about the supporting processes, fx the ECM flow
- Experience with LEAN principles and NPI projects is a plus
The job, the department & daily tasks Be the link between innovation and implementation. As an NPI Technician / SOP Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth transitions from product development to production. You will be part of a collaborative team working closely with R&D, Engineering, and Production. Your responsibilities will include - creating and maintaining assembly instructions
- managing engineering changes
- supporting production ramp-up
You will participate in NPI projects from start to matured solution, maintain and development existing assembly instructions/SOP’s and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
