WHAT YOU WILL DO As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in our Hardware team, you will be responsible for the concept of the mechanical design of our analytical instruments in close collaboration with the R&D design team. You'll work alongside a diverse cross functional development team - including hardware engineers, software developers, scientists, salespersons, and support engineers – across Hungary and Denmark. The project team is responsible for delivering the full solution, from early concept to the product leaves the production line. We enjoy significant freedom in making technological decisions, as long as it aligns with project goals. Our projects typically span 3-5 years, giving you the chance to see your ideas evolve into real-world solutions. Your base will be at the Soft Flow Research Center in Pécs, with occasional visits to our R&D department in Hillerød, Denmark, to gain hands-on insights and connect with your project team members. Your primary tasks will involve: - Developing and designing mechanical components and constructions
- Ensuring robust design using simulations, datum systems, solid tolerance calculations, GPS drawings etc.
- Verification and validation of own design
- Modelling in Autodesk Inventor and managing documentation in SAP

- Strong practical expertise in:
- 3D and 2D mechanical design and tools (preferred Autodesk Inventor)
- Geometrical tolerancing and dimensioning (GPS)
- Mechanical constructions
- Designing molded plastic and metal components
- Conducting interface and tolerance analysis
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing processes and design rules (GMP)
- Familiarity with product compliance and manufacturing related requirements
- We are an international company; therefore, your English is expected to be fluent
- BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
It is a great plus if you have: - 10+ years of experience in product development
