What you will do As a DevOps Engineer, you will own and evolve the Azure DevOps platform strategy, with a strong focus on continuously improving the developer experience. You will collaborate closely with development teams to enhance build performance, reliability, and troubleshooting capabilities, in both Hungary and Denmark. A key part of your role will be ensuring compliance with policies and standards, while promoting consistent use of tooling across all teams. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and quality of our software delivery processes. You'll be part of the growing CSI team who will provide services and solutions for instrument and platform development projects so you will collaborate closely with lead developers from these projects. You will enjoy significant freedom in making technological decisions and building a strategy provided they align with organizational goals. Your daily work will be based at Soft Flow research center in Pécs, Hungary, with the flexibility of partial home office possibilities. Your primary tasks will involve: - Monitoring the current development environment and defining improvement proposals proactively.
- Design, implement, and maintain build tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
- Promote and enforce best practices in build, release, and deployment processes.
- Research, evaluate, and integrate new tools and technologies.
- Develop onboarding materials and provide training for Azure DevOps and internal developer toolset.

- Proficient with Azure DevOps and source control systems.
- Hands-on experience in redesigning, maintaining, and optimizing build agents.
- Familiar with software compliance and security tools (e.g. SonarQube, Mend).
- Skilled in designing, validating, and implementing developer tools.
- As we are an international company, fluent English—both written and spoken—is essential.
It is a great plus if you have: - Proficiency in Linux system administration.
- Experience with Azure security concepts, best practices, identity management, and policy enforcement
- Microsoft Azure certifications
- Familiarity with the Agile framework
- Knowledge of C#, C++ or other programming languages or scripting.
