In this role, you’ll join a team of experienced specialists who work closely with different departments in our organization, to ensure our products meet global compliance standards. A key role in a highly specialized team As our Chemical and Materials Compliance Specialist, you will be part of the Product Compliance & QA team, based at FOSS Innovation Center in Hillerød. You will work closely with colleagues in chemistry, sourcing, etc., as a subject matter expert supporting product development in compliance with relevant legislation and standards. Your daily tasks will include: - Monitoring and interpreting global chemical and material regulations (e.g. REACH, RoHS, TSCA, CLP, GHS, FCM)
- Maintaining and improving internal compliance processes and documentation
- Conducting training sessions for internal stakeholders
- Supporting projects with regulatory input and risk assessments
- Managing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and supplier declarations
- Identifying and mitigating compliance risks
You’ll be part of a team that values cross-functional collaboration, knowledge sharing, and challenging the status quo. The role offers both operational and strategic responsibilities, and you’ll have the opportunity to shape how we work with compliance going forward. You enjoy working with complex regulations and translating them into practical solutions. We imagine that you have: - A Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
- Broad knowledge of international chemical and material legislation
- Experience with regulatory topics such as REACH, RoHS, TSCA, OSHA, GHS, CLP, FCM, and SDS management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train and engage stakeholders
- Experience with project facilitation and cross-functional collaboration
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or compliance platforms is a plus
