Service Engineer


The job

Working as a Service Team Member, you will represent the face of FOSS and drive best-in-class customer service, responsiveness, and professionalism. Your job is to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting also provides expert technical support and service to customers and colleagues together with enhancing user competency.

You will report directly to the Service Director and collaborate closely with the service and sales department, while representing the service function within your designated area like Masovian, Warmian-Masurian, Podlaskie Voivodeships. This position requires extensive travel (~ 80% ) within your territory, and occasionally to surrounding areas.

 

Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration, and commissioning of equipment at customer sites
  • Diagnosing issues, identifying faults, and performing repairs
  • Conducting periodic inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Providing professional technical support to customers (both remotely and on-site)
  • Collaborating with Sales and R&D departments to resolve technical issue

 

What we need from you

We’re looking for a candidate with a solid technical education and at least three years of experience in a similar role, someone who feels confident working with technical documentation and can interpret it accurately.

To thrive in our international environment, you’ll need English language skills at a minimum B2 level, Polish is a must. As well as excellent communication abilities and a natural customer-oriented approach that helps build strong relationships.

Since the role involves regular travel across Poland, a Category B driving license is essential, along with flexibility and a willingness to be on the move. We also require SEP “E” certification up to 1kV.
Familiarity with systems like Salesforce and SAP will definitely be considered an advantage
