We are now looking for a Technical Assistant with expertise in creating bill of materials, mechanical drawing and technical documentation to join our R&D team focused on the Grain & Feed product line. About the Role In the role of Technical Assistant within our Grain & Feed segment, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical components for our current and next-generation analytical instruments. Your responsibilities will cover the product development lifecycle, from supporting design and documentation through to production and ongoing maintenance, ensuring that solutions remain robust and manufacturable. You’ll be part of a collaborative and cross-functional team, working closely with colleagues in Supply Chain, Production, and technical support functions to ensure smooth transition from development to manufacturing and ongoing maintenance. Your work will be closely tied to the later stages of the product lifecycle, focusing on implementing design improvements, maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, and supporting the continued reliability and efficiency of our solutions Your responsibilities - Create and maintain mechanical drawing layouts, standard dimensioning, and geometrical positioning system (GPS)
- Prepare and manage technical documentation and Bill of Material (BOM) creation
- Support data management using SAP or similar systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement in documentation processes and product quality
What you bring - Education as Technical Assistant, Technical Designer, or other relevant technical background
- Experience in mechanical drawing layout, standard dimensioning, and GPS
- Experience with technical documentation and BOM creation
- Experience with SAP or similar data management systems
- Experience with design change management (ECM flow)
- Experience creating instrument spare parts
- Familiarity with quality systems
- Outgoing, proactive, and efficient
- Focused on project deliverables aligned with scope & timelines
- Organized and good coordinator
- Professional fluency in English (Danish an advantage)
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
And if possible - Additional certifications in SAP, PLM/ERP systems, or quality management
- Experience in a regulated industry (food/medical devices)
- Awareness of sustainability & recyclability in documentation and materials
