Process Engineer - R&D Product & Portfolio Office

We are looking for a Process Engineer to improve the way we work in R&D and to support our projects with more efficient tools, templates and systems. 

About the role

In this newly established role, you will be responsible for optimizing and simplifying the way we currently work in R&D between agile product driven development and traditional New Product Development projects and help us on our journey to become even more efficient and bring products faster to our customers in the future. Your main tasks will include:

  • Optimize our business processes to make them more efficient and effective. It aims to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce workarounds, and enhance the overall workflow. 
  • Help project teams adopt and apply Agile practices, ceremonies, and principles.
  • Standardize and develop new tools and templates for our development projects.
  • Implement a new project portfolio and resource management system.
  • Serve as an internal change agent in institutionalizing Agile and Lean methodology.

You will be working from FOSS Innovation Center in Hillerød, in close collaboration with R&D Program Directors, NPD Project Managers and Project teams.

What you bring

You have a strong feel for stakeholder management, and you know that facilitation and nurturing a good collaboration are absolute prerequisites to succeed. We expect that you have:

  • A Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering or Science.
  • Proven experience (3 year +) as a business process engineer, preferably from a larger company.
  • Proven experience with Azure DevOps and strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum and Kanban, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience implementing improvements in a continuous improvement environment (DBS, Lean, Six Sigma or Black Belt, etc.), line management or consulting role.
  • Understanding of the digital landscape and the ability to identifying opportunities for process technological advancement, and crafting strategies that align with the company's objectives.
  • Solid experience with R&D Processes and process optimization
  • Fluent in English and Danish
