Sales Development Manager - FOSS Go

What you will do

As Sales Development Manager – FOSS Go, your primary responsibility is to convert demand into sales.

You will work across different old and new channels to market like eCommerce, Key accounts, local SSS (Sales & Service Subsidiary) teams, distributors, partners, and government/institutional stakeholders.

Your role is execution-focused — ensuring that leads are handled, opportunities are closed, partners are activated, and the FOSS Go offer is commercially available at scale.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead & opportunity conversion  

  • Own and manage all inbound FOSS Go leads, especially bulk-order and high‑value inquiries.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to opportunities generated through the FOSS Go website or the larger FOSS organization
  • Drive the sales process from first contact to final closing — ensuring momentum and maximizing conversion.
  • Build structured routines to ensure quick follow‑up, qualification, and handover where needed.

Sales execution with large/key accounts

  • Coordinate with FOSS Key Account Managers and Local teams to support conversations with existing customers
  • Ensure FOSS Go is positioned clearly, consistently, and confidently in all customer interactions.
  • Join selected customer meetings (virtual and physical) to accelerate closing.

Build scalable sales processes (Enable others to sell)

  • Develop clear sales workflows, scripts, and closing playbooks that enable global and regional teams to handle FOSS Go opportunities efficiently
  • Define “how to sell” guidelines for internal and external partners
  • Support queries from SSS, KAMs, and regional commercial teams.

Partner & channel enablement

  • Work with distributors, agents, and partners to ensure they can sell, and support FOSS Go.
  • Provide sales materials, enablement training, and opportunities for early co-selling.
  • Build practical selling models for specific markets (e.g., co-ops, milk boards, livestock authorities).

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Head of Marketing – FOSS Go to turn marketing-generated demand into closed deals.
  • Provide real-time feedback to Marketing on lead quality, objections, pricing signals, and customer behavior.
  • Ensure Sales and Marketing operate as a cohesive “demand → conversion” engine.
  • Collaborate with the larger FOSS organization to grow the FOSS Go business

Professional and personal competencies

Must-have

  • Strong B2B commercial background with proven success in closing deals and driving revenue.
  • Experience working with distributors, agents, or channel partners.
  • Ability to create and drive repeatable sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Ability to work hands-on and thrive in an environment with evolving processes.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in agriculture or rural customer segments.
  • Exposure to B2C/B2B2C models or hybrid online–offline sales environments.

You may currently be a Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Partner Manager, or Business Development lead who enjoys both closing deals directly and enabling others to win.
You are operational, structured, commercially driven, and motivated by building a sales engine from the ground up.
