At FOSS, we are looking for a Service Engineer at Nagpur location who will play a key role in delivering high-quality service and support for our analytical instruments across central India and requires travel 80–90% across Vidarbha, MP and Chattisgarh. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology, interact with leading food companies, and contribute to ensuring quality and safety in food production. What you will do As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, installation, and maintenance of FOSS analytical instruments across your assigned region. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installation and commissioning of FOSS analytical instruments at customer sites
- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments
- Providing first-line technical support through phone, remote tools, or on-site visits
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and ensuring high service quality
- Supporting regional distributors with technical expertise
- Logging and managing service incidents through the CRM system
- Preparing service reports and documentation on time
- Collaborating with sales and technical teams to support customer solutions

Professional and personal competences We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and competencies: - Engineering degree in Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering or Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics
- 2–3 years of service experience on analytical or spectroscopy instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently with high travel requirements
- Customer-oriented mindset and strong relationship skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies
