As Sustainability Manager, your job will be to drive sustainability activities across our global operations. A very important part of the role is collaborating with different functions across the organization. You will be reporting to the SVP of HR & Sustainability. FOSS is committed to operating sustainably and is an active participant in the UN Global Compact and EcoVadis, where we have been awarded a silver medal and have been rated in the 92nd percentile in our industry. Further, we are on track to transition to 100% renewable electricity in Denmark with investments in solar panels and a wind turbine. What you’ll do Working as a Sustainability Manager, you will have a variety of tasks. Some of these are described below: Strategic sustainability initiatives across FOSS: - Getting ready for CSRD and establishing carbon accounting Scope I, II and III
- Driving initiatives to ensure that we progress against the UN Global Compact’s 10 principles, and EcoVadis
- Climate actions and reducing our environmental footprint
- Integrating sustainability into our company and employer branding
Recurring tasks: - Steering the “Environmental Management System” including ISO 14001
- Producing the ESG section of the annual report based on CSRD
- Handling customer requests for documentation on our sustainability performance
Who are you? We are looking for a well-rounded candidate with an interest in and experience in sustainability. We expect your educational background to be a master’s degree. In addition, you have: - Minimum 5 years of experience working with sustainability – preferably from an international organization.
- Documented experience with project management.
- Excellent communication, as well as relationship and stakeholder-building capabilities
- An analytical and pragmatic mindset
You will be based in our Hillerød office, and will interact with both Danish and international stakeholders, making full professional proficiency in Danish and English essential.
