Join our Product Compliance team at FOSS Innovation Center and help shape product compliance and regulatory affairs in a global, innovation-driven company We are looking for a technically skilled, detail-oriented, and analytically professional with regulatory knowledge, communication skills, integrity, and the ability to translate legal requirements into practical, safe, and compliant product solutions. Key responsibilities - Act as Subject Matter Expert within the field of Product Safety, Low Voltage Directive, Machinery Directive/Regulation, Technical Documentation (Technical File)
- Monitor and interpret the global legislation, including for Electromagnetic Compatibility, Battery regulation and Cyber Security
- Develop, maintain and timely improve internal governance, processes, instructions, tools and training programs in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Support development project management and product life cycles management with input, risk assessments, guidance and internal approval authority, e.g.,
- prepare EU Declaration of Conformity
- conduct risk assessments according to IEC 61010 / ISO 12100
- support CE marking of Products
- and support R&D with CB Safety Certification according to the IEC 61010 series.
You are expected to work on-site at the Foss Innovation Center in Hillerød where many of the key stakeholders within R&D, Product Management, and Operations are also based. Additionally ad hoc, together with stakeholders at our new production site in Frederikssund. What we hope to see you bring At FOSS, we value collaboration, accountability, and curiosity. Primary qualifications: - A master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience of key responsibilities, e.g. professional/engineer/specialist/consultant within product compliance, regulatory affairs, electrical safety, certification, risk & safety
- Confident in making compliance judgements where requirements are not black-and-white, balancing regulatory requirements with business needs and providing pragmatic and defensible solutions
- Thrive in cross-functional collaboration, build trust across functions, and see yourself reflected in FOSS’ values
- Fluent in English, spoken as well as written
