Product Application Specialist

What can you expect in this role?

The Product Application Specialist’s primary focus is on customer calibration and application needs, updating calibrations, and supplying calibration reports, while also providing user and employee training for effective operation and optimal performance. The role involves diagnosing instrument performance issues and contributing to solutions, as well as installing software and ensure integration with existing solutions. Participation in installations, instrument demonstrations and trials are also tasks that the PAS will encounter. Key responsibilities also include maintaining customer relationships through quality calibration service and supporting sales teams with product expertise. The PAS may also take part in representing the company at industry events and collaborate with Sales in evaluating and supplying feedback to customer inquiries.

What are you responsibilities?

  • Install software and ensure integrating with existing systems
  • Review and support customer calibration and application needs, update calibrations as required, and write calibration reports
  • Diagnose calibration issues and collaborate for complex problem-solving, and determine software/hardware solutions
  • Provide performance assistance, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure high-quality calibration service
  • Conduct user and employee training
  • Provide sufficient and detailed documentation in CRM and in general
  • Support Sales with product expertise and collaboration for customer feedback and participate in industry events · Follow and stay updated with FOSS processe

What makes you a desirable candidate?

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline)
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation
  • Proficiency in statistics and statistical package software
  • Experienced in chemometrics and proficient in using modelling tools
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently in the field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally
  • Valid work permit and driving license
